NDST1-TCOF1 Fusion FISH Probe
The NDST1-TCOF1 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the NDST1 and TCOF1 genes. The fusion of the NDST1 and TCOF1 genes has been associated with Lung Squamous Cell Carcinoma, and Liver Hepatocellular Carcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

This gene encodes a member of the heparan sulfate/heparin GlcNAc N-deacetylase/ N-sulfotransferase family. The encoded enzyme is a type II transmembrane protein that resides in the Golgi apparatus. The encoded protein catalyzes the transfer of sulfate from 3'-phosphoadenosine 5'-phosphosulfate to nitrogen of glucosamine in heparan sulfate.
