MYH14-GPR19 Fusion FISH Probe
The MYH14-GPR19 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the MYH14 and GPR19 genes. The fusion of the MYH14 and GPR19 genes has been associated with Esophageal Carcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

GPR19 Gene Summary
The G Protein-coupled Receptor 19 (GPR19) gene is located on chr12 :12813994-12849121 at 12p13.1.
Gene Name: G Protein-coupled Receptor 19
Chromosome: CHR12: 12813994 -12849121
Locus: 12p13.1
MYH14 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a member of the myosin superfamily. The protein represents a conventional non-muscle myosin; it should not be confused with the unconventional myosin-14 (MYO14). Myosins are actin-dependent motor proteins with diverse functions including regulation of cytokinesis, cell motility, and cell polarity. Mutations in this gene result in one form of autosomal dominant hearing impairment. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Gene Name: Myosin Heavy Chain 14
Chromosome: CHR19: 50706884 -50813801
Locus: 19q13.33
