MPG-SNRNP25 Fusion FISH Probe
The MPG-SNRNP25 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the MPG and SNRNP25 genes. The fusion of the MPG and SNRNP25 genes has been associated with Lung Adenocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

SNRNP25 Gene Summary
Two types of spliceosomes catalyze splicing of pre-mRNAs. The major U2-type spliceosome is found in all eukaryotes and removes U2-type introns, which represent more than 99% of pre-mRNA introns.
