MLLT1-PRLR Fusion FISH Probe
The MLLT1-PRLR Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the MLLT1 and PRLR genes. The fusion of the MLLT1 and PRLR genes has been associated with Adrenocortical Carcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

MLLT1 Gene Summary
The MLLT1, Super Elongation Complex Subunit (MLLT1) gene is located on chr19 :6210391-6279959 at 19p13.3.
Gene Name: MLLT1, Super Elongation Complex Subunit
Chromosome: CHR19: 6210391 -6279959
Locus: 19p13.3
PRLR Gene Summary
This gene encodes a receptor for the anterior pituitary hormone, prolactin, and belongs to the type I cytokine receptor family. Prolactin-dependent signaling occurs as the result of ligand-induced dimerization of the prolactin receptor. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different membrane-bound and soluble isoforms have been described for this gene, which may function to modulate the endocrine and autocrine effects of prolactin in normal tissue and cancer. Gene Name: Prolactin Receptor
Chromosome: CHR5: 35055801 -35230823
Locus: 5p13.2
