IL27RA-RLN3 Fusion FISH Probe
The IL27RA-RLN3 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the IL27RA and RLN3 genes. The fusion of the IL27RA and RLN3 genes has been associated with Ovarian Serous Cystadenocarcinoma, Breast Invasive Carcinoma, Kidney Renal Clear Cell Carcinoma, Stomach Adenocarcinoma, Head And Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma , Skin Cutaneous Melanoma, Lung Squamous Cell Carcinoma, and Brain Lower Grade Glioma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.
** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

IL27RA Gene Summary
In mice, CD4+ helper T-cells differentiate into type 1 (Th1) cells, which are critical for cell-mediated immunity, predominantly under the influence of IL12. Also, IL4 influences their differentiation into type 2 (Th2) cells, which are critical for most antibody responses. Mice deficient in these cytokines, their receptors, or associated transcription factors have impaired, but are not absent of, Th1 or Th2 immune responses. This gene encodes a protein which is similar to the mouse T-cell cytokine receptor Tccr at the amino acid level, and is predicted to be a glycosylated transmembrane protein. Gene Name: Interleukin 27 Receptor Subunit Alpha
Chromosome: CHR19: 14142261 -14164026
Locus: 19p13.12
RLN3 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a member of the relaxin family of insulin-like hormones that is expressed predominantly in the brain and plays a role in physiological processes such as stress, memory and appetite regulation. The encoded protein is a precursor that is proteolytically processed to generate a heterodimeric mature form consisting A and B chains interlinked by disulfide bonds. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2015]
Gene Name: Relaxin 3
