IL20RA-CPM Fusion FISH Probe
The IL20RA-CPM Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the IL20RA and CPM genes. The fusion of the IL20RA and CPM genes has been associated with Sarcoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

CPM Gene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a membrane-bound arginine/lysine carboxypeptidase. Its expression is associated with monocyte to macrophage differentiation. This encoded protein contains hydrophobic regions at the amino and carboxy termini and has 6 potential asparagine-linked glycosylation sites. The active site residues of carboxypeptidases A and B are conserved in this protein. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been described for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Name: Carboxypeptidase M
Chromosome: CHR12: 69244955 -69357020
Locus: 12q15
IL20RA Gene Summary
This gene encodes a member of the type II cytokine receptor family. The encoded protein is a subunit of the receptor for interleukin 20, a cytokine that may be involved in epidermal function. The interleukin 20 receptor is a heterodimeric complex consisting of the encoded protein and interleukin 20 receptor beta. This gene and interleukin 20 receptor beta are highly expressed in skin, and are upregulated in psoriasis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2013]
Gene Name: Interleukin 20 Receptor Subunit Alpha
Chromosome: CHR6: 137321107 -137366298
Locus: 6q23.3
