IGDCC3-GLDN Fusion FISH Probe
The IGDCC3-GLDN Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the IGDCC3 and GLDN genes. The fusion of the IGDCC3 and GLDN genes has been associated with Brain Lower Grade Glioma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

GLDN Gene Summary
This gene encodes a protein that contains olfactomedin-like and collagen-like domains. The encoded protein, which exists in both transmembrane and secreted forms, promotes formation of the nodes of Ranvier in the peripheral nervous system. Mutations in this gene cause a form of lethal congenital contracture syndrome in human patients.
