HECTD2-GLRX3 Fusion FISH Probe
The HECTD2-GLRX3 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the HECTD2 and GLRX3 genes. The fusion of the HECTD2 and GLRX3 genes has been associated with Breast Invasive Carcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

GLRX3 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a member of the glutaredoxin family. Glutaredoxins are oxidoreductase enzymes that reduce a variety of substrates using glutathione as a cofactor. The encoded protein binds to and modulates the function of protein kinase C theta. The encoded protein may also inhibit apoptosis and play a role in cellular growth, and the expression of this gene may be a marker for cancer.
