HEATR7A-PKMYT1 Fusion FISH Probe
The HEATR7A-PKMYT1 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the HEATR7A and PKMYT1 genes. The fusion of the HEATR7A and PKMYT1 genes has been associated with Prostate Adenocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

PKMYT1 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a member of the serine/threonine protein kinase family. The encoded protein is a membrane-associated kinase that negatively regulates the G2/M transition of the cell cycle by phosphorylating and inactivating cyclin-dependent kinase 1. The activity of the encoded protein is regulated by polo-like kinase 1. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene.
