HAUS8-QTRT1 Fusion FISH Probe
The HAUS8-QTRT1 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the HAUS8 and QTRT1 genes. The fusion of the HAUS8 and QTRT1 genes has been associated with Sarcoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

This gene encodes the catalytic subunit of tRNA-guanine transglycosylase. tRNA-guanine transglycosylase is a heterodimeric enzyme complex that plays a critical role in tRNA modification by synthesizing the 7-deazaguanosine queuosine, which is found in tRNAs that code for asparagine, aspartic acid, histidine and tyrosine.
