ENAH-SCCPDH Fusion FISH Probe
The ENAH-SCCPDH Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the ENAH and SCCPDH genes. The fusion of the ENAH and SCCPDH genes has been associated with Skin Cutaneous Melanoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.
** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

SCCPDH Gene Summary
The Saccharopine Dehydrogenase (putative) (SCCPDH) gene is located on chr1 :246887377-246931440 at 1q44.
Gene Name: Saccharopine Dehydrogenase (putative)
Chromosome: CHR1: 246887377 -246931440
Locus: 1q44
ENAH Gene Summary
This gene encodes a member of the enabled/ vasodilator-stimulated phosphoprotein. Members of this gene family are involved in actin-based motility. This protein is involved in regulating the assembly of actin filaments and modulates cell adhesion and motility. Alternate splice variants of this gene have been correlated with tumor invasiveness in certain tissues and these variants may serve as prognostic markers. A pseudogene of this gene is found on chromosome 3. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2016]
Gene Name: ENAH, Actin Regulator
Chromosome: CHR1: 225674533 -225840845
Locus: 1q42.12
