ELAC2-RABEP1 Fusion FISH Probe
The ELAC2-RABEP1 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the ELAC2 and RABEP1 genes. The fusion of the ELAC2 and RABEP1 genes has been associated with Cholangiocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

The protein also interacts with activated Smad family member 2 (Smad2) and its nuclear partner forkhead box H1 (also known as FAST-1), and reduced expression can suppress transforming growth factor-beta induced growth arrest.
