EEA1-PAH Fusion FISH Probe
The EEA1-PAH Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the EEA1 and PAH genes. The fusion of the EEA1 and PAH genes has been associated with Breast Invasive Carcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

PAH Gene Summary
This gene encodes a member of the biopterin-dependent aromatic amino acid hydroxylase protein family. The encoded phenylalanine hydroxylase enzyme hydroxylates phenylalanine to tyrosine and is the rate-limiting step in phenylalanine catabolism.
