DYNLT3-U2AF2 Fusion FISH Probe
The DYNLT3-U2AF2 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the DYNLT3 and U2AF2 genes. The fusion of the DYNLT3 and U2AF2 genes has been associated with Lung Adenocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

DYNLT3 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a member of a subclass of dynein light chains. The encoded protein homodimerizes and forms the light chain component of the cytoplasmic dynein motor protein complex. This protein may be important for binding dynein to specific cargos including the spindle checkpoint protein BUB3. This protein may also function independently of dynein as a transcriptional modulator. Pseudogenes of this gene are found on chromosomes 2 and 20.[provided by RefSeq, Mar 2010]
Gene Name: Dynein Light Chain Tctex-type 3
Chromosome: CHRX: 37698088 -37706889
Locus: Xp11.4
U2AF2 Gene Summary
U2 auxiliary factor (U2AF), comprised of a large and a small subunit, is a non-snRNP protein required for the binding of U2 snRNP to the pre-mRNA branch site. This gene encodes the U2AF large subunit which contains a sequence-specific RNA-binding region with 3 RNA recognition motifs and an Arg/Ser-rich domain necessary for splicing. The large subunit binds to the polypyrimidine tract of introns early during spliceosome assembly. Multiple transcript variants have been detected for this gene, but the full-length natures of only two have been determined to date. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Name: U2 Small Nuclear RNA Auxiliary Factor 2
Chromosome: CHR19: 56165415 -56186082
Locus: 19q13.42
