DTNB-CNOT4 Fusion FISH Probe
The DTNB-CNOT4 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the DTNB and CNOT4 genes. The fusion of the DTNB and CNOT4 genes has been associated with Head And Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma . These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.
** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use.

DTNB Gene Summary
This gene encodes dystrobrevin beta, a component of the dystrophin-associated protein complex (DPC). The DPC consists of dystrophin and several integral and peripheral membrane proteins, including dystroglycans, sarcoglycans, syntrophins and dystrobrevin alpha and beta. The DPC localizes to the sarcolemma and its disruption is associated with various forms of muscular dystrophy. Dystrobrevin beta is thought to interact with syntrophin and the DP71 short form of dystrophin. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2016]
Gene Name: Dystrobrevin Beta
Chromosome: CHR2: 25600111 -25896503
Locus: 2p23.3
CNOT4 Gene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a subunit of the CCR4-NOT complex, a global transcriptional regulator. The encoded protein interacts with CNOT1 and has E3 ubiquitin ligase activity. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.[provided by RefSeq, Jul 2010]
Gene Name: CCR4-NOT Transcription Complex Subunit 4
