DRAM1-NTN4 Fusion FISH Probe
The DRAM1-NTN4 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the DRAM1 and NTN4 genes. The fusion of the DRAM1 and NTN4 genes has been associated with Sarcoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.
** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

DRAM1 Gene Summary
This gene is regulated as part of the p53 tumor suppressor pathway. The gene encodes a lysosomal membrane protein that is required for the induction of autophagy by the pathway. Decreased transcriptional expression of this gene is associated with various tumors. This gene has a pseudogene on chromosome 4. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Name: DNA Damage Regulated Autophagy Modulator 1
Chromosome: CHR12: 102271104 -102317401
Locus: 12q23.2
NTN4 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a member of the netrin family of proteins, which function in various biological processes including axon guidance, tumorogenesis, and angiogenesis. Netrins are laminin-related proteins that have an N-terminal laminin-type domain, epidermal growth factor-like repeat domain, and a positively charged heparin-binding domain at the C-terminus. The protein encoded by this gene is involved in processes including neurite growth and migration, angiogenesis and mural cell adhesion to endothelial cells. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2016]
Gene Name: Netrin 4
Chromosome: CHR12: 96051582 -96184536
Locus: 12q22
