DNAJC3-MCF2L Fusion FISH Probe
The DNAJC3-MCF2L Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the DNAJC3 and MCF2L genes. The fusion of the DNAJC3 and MCF2L genes has been associated with Liver Hepatocellular Carcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.
** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

DNAJC3 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a protein with multiple tetratricopeptide repeat (TPR) motifs as well as the highly conserved J domain found in DNAJ chaperone family members. It is a member of the tetratricopeptide repeat family of proteins and acts as an inhibitor of the interferon-induced, dsRNA-activated protein kinase (PKR). [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2010]
Gene Name: DnaJ Heat Shock Protein Family (Hsp40) Member C3
Chromosome: CHR13: 96329392 -96447243
Locus: 13q32.1
MCF2L Gene Summary
This gene encodes a guanine nucleotide exchange factor that interacts specifically with the GTP-bound Rac1 and plays a role in the Rho/Rac signaling pathways. A variant in this gene was associated with osteoarthritis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2016]
Gene Name: MCF.2 Cell Line Derived Transforming Sequence Like
