DNAJC3-CLDN10 Fusion FISH Probe

The DNAJC3-CLDN10 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the DNAJC3 and CLDN10 genes. The fusion of the DNAJC3 and CLDN10 genes has been associated with Lung Adenocarcinoma, and Stomach Adenocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

Turnaround Time: 7-10 Business Days    Shipping Time: 1-2 Day Expedited Shipping

DNAJC3 Gene Summary

This gene encodes a protein with multiple tetratricopeptide repeat (TPR) motifs as well as the highly conserved J domain found in DNAJ chaperone family members. It is a member of the tetratricopeptide repeat family of proteins and acts as an inhibitor of the interferon-induced, dsRNA-activated protein kinase (PKR). [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2010]

Gene Name: DnaJ Heat Shock Protein Family (Hsp40) Member C3

Chromosome: CHR13: 96329392 -96447243

Locus: 13q32.1

CLDN10 Gene Summary

This gene encodes a member of the claudin family. Claudins are integral membrane proteins and components of tight junction strands. Tight junction strands serve as a physical barrier to prevent solutes and water from passing freely through the paracellular space between epithelial or endothelial cell sheets, and also play critical roles in maintaining cell polarity and signal transductions. The expression level of this gene is associated with recurrence of primary hepatocellular carcinoma. Six alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been reported, but the transcript sequences of some variants are not determined.[provided by RefSeq, Jun 2010]

Gene Name: Claudin 10

Chromosome: CHR13: 96085852 -96232010

Locus: 13q32.1
