DNAJC1-DCLRE1C Fusion FISH Probe
The DNAJC1-DCLRE1C Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the DNAJC1 and DCLRE1C genes. The fusion of the DNAJC1 and DCLRE1C genes has been associated with Breast Invasive Carcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

The encoded protein has single-strand-specific 5'-3' exonuclease activity; it also exhibits endonuclease activity on 5' and 3' overhangs and hairpins. The protein also functions in the regulation of the cell cycle in response to DNA damage. Mutations in this gene can cause Athabascan-type severe combined immunodeficiency (SCIDA) and Omenn syndrome.
