DAB1-TTC22 Fusion FISH Probe
The DAB1-TTC22 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the DAB1 and TTC22 genes. The fusion of the DAB1 and TTC22 genes has been associated with Sarcoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.
** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

DAB1 Gene Summary
The laminar organization of multiple neuronal types in the cerebral cortex is required for normal cognitive function. In mice, the disabled-1 gene plays a central role in brain development, directing the migration of cortical neurons past previously formed neurons to reach their proper layer. This gene is similar to disabled-1, and the protein encoded by this gene is thought to be a signal transducer that interacts with protein kinase pathways to regulate neuronal positioning in the developing brain. Gene Name: DAB1, Reelin Adaptor Protein
Chromosome: CHR1: 57463578 -58716211
Locus: 1p32.2
TTC22 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a protein with seven tetratricopeptide (TPR) repeats. Tetratricopeptide repeat containing motifs are found in a variety of proteins and may mediate protein-protein interactions and chaperone activity. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2011]
Gene Name: Tetratricopeptide Repeat Domain 22
Chromosome: CHR1: 55246751 -55266941
Locus: 1p32.3
