CSNK1D-SECTM1 Fusion FISH Probe
The CSNK1D-SECTM1 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the CSNK1D and SECTM1 genes. The fusion of the CSNK1D and SECTM1 genes has been associated with Uterine Corpus Endometrial Carcinoma, Colon Adenocarcinoma, and Head And Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma . These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

This gene is a member of the casein kinase I (CKI) gene family whose members have been implicated in the control of cytoplasmic and nuclear processes, including DNA replication and repair. The encoded protein may also be involved in the regulation of apoptosis, circadian rhythm, microtubule dynamics, chromosome segregation, and p53-mediated effects on growth.
