CPM-GOLT1B Fusion FISH Probe
The CPM-GOLT1B Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the CPM and GOLT1B genes. The fusion of the CPM and GOLT1B genes has been associated with Kidney Renal Clear Cell Carcinoma, and Liver Hepatocellular Carcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

This encoded protein contains hydrophobic regions at the amino and carboxy termini and has 6 potential asparagine-linked glycosylation sites. The active site residues of carboxypeptidases A and B are conserved in this protein. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been described for this gene.
