CPM-DNM3 Fusion FISH Probe
The CPM-DNM3 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the CPM and DNM3 genes. The fusion of the CPM and DNM3 genes has been associated with Sarcoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

CPM Gene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a membrane-bound arginine/lysine carboxypeptidase. Its expression is associated with monocyte to macrophage differentiation. This encoded protein contains hydrophobic regions at the amino and carboxy termini and has 6 potential asparagine-linked glycosylation sites. The active site residues of carboxypeptidases A and B are conserved in this protein. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been described for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Name: Carboxypeptidase M
Chromosome: CHR12: 69244955 -69357020
Locus: 12q15
DNM3 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a member of a family of guanosine triphosphate (GTP)-binding proteins that associate with microtubules and are involved in vesicular transport. The encoded protein functions in the development of megakaryocytes. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, May 2013]
Gene Name: Dynamin 3
Chromosome: CHR1: 171810620 -172381857
Locus: 1q24.3
