CPB1-ANXA1 Fusion FISH Probe
The CPB1-ANXA1 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the CPB1 and ANXA1 genes. The fusion of the CPB1 and ANXA1 genes has been associated with Breast Invasive Carcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

ANXA1 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a membrane-localized protein that binds phospholipids. This protein inhibits phospholipase A2 and has anti-inflammatory activity. Loss of function or expression of this gene has been detected in multiple tumors. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2014]
Gene Name: Annexin A1
Chromosome: CHR9: 75766780 -75785307
Locus: 9q21.13
CPB1 Gene Summary
Three different procarboxypeptidases A and two different procarboxypeptidases B have been isolated. The B1 and B2 forms differ from each other mainly in isoelectric point. Carboxypeptidase B1 is a highly tissue-specific protein and is a useful serum marker for acute pancreatitis and dysfunction of pancreatic transplants. It is not elevated in pancreatic carcinoma. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Name: Carboxypeptidase B1
Chromosome: CHR3: 148545587 -148577972
Locus: 3q24
