CNPY3-CXCR5 Fusion FISH Probe
The CNPY3-CXCR5 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the CNPY3 and CXCR5 genes. The fusion of the CNPY3 and CXCR5 genes has been associated with Lung Adenocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

CXCR5 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a multi-pass membrane protein that belongs to the CXC chemokine receptor family. It is expressed in mature B-cells and Burkitt's lymphoma. This cytokine receptor binds to B-lymphocyte chemoattractant (BLC), and is involved in B-cell migration into B-cell follicles of spleen and Peyer patches. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2011]
Gene Name: C-X-C Motif Chemokine Receptor 5
Chromosome: CHR11: 118754474 -118766980
Locus: 11q23.3
CNPY3 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a protein that binds members of the toll-like receptor protein family and functions as a chaperone to aid in folding and export of these proteins. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Naturally occuring readthrough transcription occurs between this locus and the downstream GNMT (glycine N-methyltransferase) gene and is represented with GeneID:107080644. Gene Name: Canopy FGF Signaling Regulator 3
Chromosome: CHR6: 42896859 -42907008
Locus: 6p21.1
