CMTM4-DYNC1LI2 Fusion FISH Probe
The CMTM4-DYNC1LI2 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the CMTM4 and DYNC1LI2 genes. The fusion of the CMTM4 and DYNC1LI2 genes has been associated with Cervical Squamous Cell Carcinoma And Endocervical Adenocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.
** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

DYNC1LI2 Gene Summary
Cytoplasmic dynein is a microtubule-associated motor protein (Hughes et al., 1995 [PubMed 7738094]). See DYNC1H1 (MIM 600112) for general information about dyneins.[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008]
Gene Name: Dynein Cytoplasmic 1 Light Intermediate Chain 2
Chromosome: CHR16: 66754798 -66785525
Locus: 16q22.1
CMTM4 Gene Summary
This gene belongs to the chemokine-like factor gene superfamily, a novel family that is similar to the chemokine and the transmembrane 4 superfamilies of signaling molecules. This gene is one of several chemokine-like factor genes located in a cluster on chromosome 16. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Name: CKLF Like MARVEL Transmembrane Domain Containing 4
Chromosome: CHR16: 66648652 -66730610
Locus: 16q21-q22.1
