CMTM4-CMTM3 Fusion FISH Probe
The CMTM4-CMTM3 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the CMTM4 and CMTM3 genes. The fusion of the CMTM4 and CMTM3 genes has been associated with Stomach Adenocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.
** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

CMTM3 Gene Summary
This gene belongs to the chemokine-like factor gene superfamily, a novel family that is similar to the chemokine and the transmembrane 4 superfamilies of signaling molecules. This gene is one of several chemokine-like factor genes located in a cluster on chromosome 16. Alternatively spliced transcript variants containing different 5' UTRs, but encoding the same protein, have been identified. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Name: CKLF Like MARVEL Transmembrane Domain Containing 3
Chromosome: CHR16: 66637934 -66647795
Locus: 16q22.1
