CLIP1-TNIK Fusion FISH Probe
The CLIP1-TNIK Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the CLIP1 and TNIK genes. The fusion of the CLIP1 and TNIK genes has been associated with Stomach Adenocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

CLIP1 Gene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene links endocytic vesicles to microtubules. This gene is highly expressed in Reed-Sternberg cells of Hodgkin disease. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2011]
Gene Name: CAP-Gly Domain Containing Linker Protein 1
Chromosome: CHR12: 122755980 -122907116
Locus: 12q24.31
TNIK Gene Summary
Wnt signaling plays important roles in carcinogenesis and embryonic development. The protein encoded by this gene is a serine/threonine kinase that functions as an activator of the Wnt signaling pathway. Mutations in this gene are associated with an autosomal recessive form of cognitive disability. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2017]
Gene Name: TRAF2 And NCK Interacting Kinase
Chromosome: CHR3: 170780291 -171178197
Locus: 3q26.2-q26.31
