CHD6-DHX58 Fusion FISH Probe
The CHD6-DHX58 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the CHD6 and DHX58 genes. The fusion of the CHD6 and DHX58 genes has been associated with Stomach Adenocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

DHX58 Gene Summary
The DExH-box Helicase 58 (DHX58) gene is located on chr17 :40253421-40264751 at 17q21.2.
Gene Name: DExH-box Helicase 58
Chromosome: CHR17: 40253421 -40264751
Locus: 17q21.2
CHD6 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a member of the SNF2/RAD54 helicase protein family. The encoded protein contains two chromodomains, a helicase domain, and an ATPase domain. Several multi-subunit protein complexes remodel chromatin to allow patterns of cell type-specific gene expression, and the encoded protein is thought to be a core member of one or more of these chromatin remodeling complexes. The encoded protein may function as a transcriptional repressor and is involved in the cellular repression of influenza virus replication. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2013]
