CDK7-CCNB1 Fusion FISH Probe
The CDK7-CCNB1 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the CDK7 and CCNB1 genes. The fusion of the CDK7 and CCNB1 genes has been associated with Breast Invasive Carcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.
** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

CCNB1 Gene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a regulatory protein involved in mitosis. The gene product complexes with p34(cdc2) to form the maturation-promoting factor (MPF). The encoded protein is necessary for proper control of the G2/M transition phase of the cell cycle. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2017]
Gene Name: Cyclin B1
Chromosome: CHR5: 68462912 -68474070
Locus: 5q13.2
CDK7 Gene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the cyclin-dependent protein kinase (CDK) family. CDK family members are highly similar to the gene products of Saccharomyces cerevisiae cdc28, and Schizosaccharomyces pombe cdc2, and are known to be important regulators of cell cycle progression. This protein forms a trimeric complex with cyclin H and MAT1, which functions as a Cdk-activating kinase (CAK). It is an essential component of the transcription factor TFIIH, that is involved in transcription initiation and DNA repair. This protein is thought to serve as a direct link between the regulation of transcription and the cell cycle. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Name: Cyclin Dependent Kinase 7
