CCT2-CXCR5 Fusion FISH Probe
The CCT2-CXCR5 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the CCT2 and CXCR5 genes. The fusion of the CCT2 and CXCR5 genes has been associated with Breast Invasive Carcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

CXCR5 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a multi-pass membrane protein that belongs to the CXC chemokine receptor family. It is expressed in mature B-cells and Burkitt's lymphoma. This cytokine receptor binds to B-lymphocyte chemoattractant (BLC), and is involved in B-cell migration into B-cell follicles of spleen and Peyer patches. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2011]
Gene Name: C-X-C Motif Chemokine Receptor 5
Chromosome: CHR11: 118754474 -118766980
Locus: 11q23.3
CCT2 Gene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a molecular chaperone that is a member of the chaperonin containing TCP1 complex (CCT), also known as the TCP1 ring complex (TRiC). This complex consists of two identical stacked rings, each containing eight different proteins. Unfolded polypeptides enter the central cavity of the complex and are folded in an ATP-dependent manner. The complex folds various proteins, including actin and tubulin. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2010]
Gene Name: Chaperonin Containing TCP1 Subunit 2
Chromosome: CHR12: 69979207 -69995357
Locus: 12q15
