ATP9A-MACROD2 Fusion FISH Probe
The ATP9A-MACROD2 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the ATP9A and MACROD2 genes. The fusion of the ATP9A and MACROD2 genes has been associated with Lung Adenocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.
** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

ATP9A Gene Summary
The ATPase Phospholipid Transporting 9A (putative) (ATP9A) gene is located on chr20 :50213313-50384908 at 20q13.2.
Gene Name: ATPase Phospholipid Transporting 9A (putative)
Chromosome: CHR20: 50213313 -50384908
Locus: 20q13.2
MACROD2 Gene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a deacetylase involved in removing ADP-ribose from mono-ADP-ribosylated proteins. The encoded protein has been shown to translocate from the nucleus to the cytoplasm upon DNA damage. [provided by RefSeq, May 2017]
Gene Name: MACRO Domain Containing 2
Chromosome: CHR20: 13976145 -16033841
Locus: 20p12.1
