ASH1L-RC3H1 Fusion FISH Probe
The ASH1L-RC3H1 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the ASH1L and RC3H1 genes. The fusion of the ASH1L and RC3H1 genes has been associated with Sarcoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.
** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

ASH1L Gene Summary
This gene encodes a member of the trithorax group of transcriptional activators. The protein contains four AT hooks, a SET domain, a PHD-finger motif, and a bromodomain. It is localized to many small speckles in the nucleus, and also to cell-cell tight junctions. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Name: ASH1 Like Histone Lysine Methyltransferase
Chromosome: CHR1: 155305051 -155532324
Locus: 1q22
RC3H1 Gene Summary
This gene encodes a protein containing RING-type and C3H1-type zinc finger motifs. The encoded protein recognizes and binds to a constitutive decay element (CDE) in the 3' UTR of mRNAs, leading to mRNA deadenylation and degradation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2014]
Gene Name: Ring Finger And CCCH-type Domains 1
Chromosome: CHR1: 173900351 -173962210
Locus: 1q25.1
