ARHGAP32-PRDM10 Fusion FISH Probe
The ARHGAP32-PRDM10 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the ARHGAP32 and PRDM10 genes. The fusion of the ARHGAP32 and PRDM10 genes has been associated with Prostate Adenocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.
** This product is for in vitro and research use only. This product is not intended for diagnostic use. Please note that both genes fall on the same chromosome and inter-chromosomal detection may be difficult to detect depending on the genes proximity to one another. Please consult our support staff before ordering this product to ensure that the probe can be designed to meet your specific needs.

ARHGAP32 Gene Summary
RICS is a neuron-associated GTPase-activating protein that may regulate dendritic spine morphology and strength by modulating Rho GTPase (see RHOA; MIM 165390) activity (Okabe et al., 2003 [PubMed 12531901]).[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008]
Gene Name: Rho GTPase Activating Protein 32
Chromosome: CHR11: 128834954 -129062093
Locus: 11q24.3
PRDM10 Gene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a transcription factor that contains C2H2-type zinc-fingers. It also contains a positive regulatory domain, which has been found in several other zinc-finger transcription factors including those involved in B cell differentiation and tumor suppression. Studies of the mouse counterpart suggest that this protein may be involved in the development of the central nerve system (CNS), as well as in the pathogenesis of neuronal storage disease. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been observed. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Name: PR/SET Domain 10
Chromosome: CHR11: 129769600 -129872730
Locus: 11q24.3
