The APPL1-SPATA12 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the APPL1 and SPATA12 genes. The fusion of the APPL1 and SPATA12 genes has been associated with Breast Invasive Carcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

The encoded protein binds many other proteins, including RAB5A, DCC, AKT2, PIK3CA, adiponectin receptors, and proteins of the NuRD/MeCP1 complex.
