AHRR-AVIL Fusion FISH Probe
The AHRR-AVIL Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the AHRR and AVIL genes. The fusion of the AHRR and AVIL genes has been associated with Sarcoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

AVIL Gene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the gelsolin/villin family of actin regulatory proteins. This protein has structural similarity to villin. It binds actin and may play a role in the development of neuronal cells that form ganglia. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Gene Name: Advillin
Chromosome: CHR12: 58191159 -58209852
Locus: 12q14.1
AHRR Gene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene participates in the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) signaling cascade, which mediates dioxin toxicity, and is involved in regulation of cell growth and differentiation. It functions as a feedback modulator by repressing AhR-dependent gene expression. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2011]
Gene Name: Aryl-hydrocarbon Receptor Repressor
Chromosome: CHR5: 304290 -438405
Locus: 5p15.33
