ACPP-ZNF462 Fusion FISH Probe
The ACPP-ZNF462 Fusion FISH Probe is used to confirm a fusion of the ACPP and ZNF462 genes. The fusion of the ACPP and ZNF462 genes has been associated with Prostate Adenocarcinoma, and Prostate Adenocarcinoma. These probes are FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood in both interphase nuclei and metaphase spreads before shipment. Typical turnaround time for this product is 7-14 days after purchase.

ACPP Gene Summary
This gene encodes an enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of orthophosphoric monoester to alcohol and orthophosphate. It is synthesized under androgen regulation and is secreted by the epithelial cells of the prostate gland. An alternatively spliced transcript variant encoding a longer isoform has been found for this gene. This isoform contains a transmembrane domain and is localized in the plasma membrane-endosomal-lysosomal pathway. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2008]
Gene Name: Acid Phosphatase, Prostate
Chromosome: CHR3: 132036210 -132087146
Locus: 3q22.1
ZNF462 Gene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to C2H2-type zinc finger family of proteins. It contains multiple C2H2-type zinc fingers and may be involved in transcriptional regulation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2016]
Gene Name: Zinc Finger Protein 462
Chromosome: CHR9: 109625377 -109773796
Locus: 9q31.2
