The NISH Red Kit is a ready-to-use chromogen system designed for use with alkaline phosphatase (AP)-based NISH detection assays in in situ hybridization (ISH) applications on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections. The kit contains Fast Red chromogen and Fast Red buffer, which together produce a stable, red insoluble precipitate at the site of probe-target hybridization. When combined with the NISH AP Detection Kit (AP-KT-40-R-NP), the AP enzyme catalyzes the chromogenic reaction, resulting in a bright red signal that can be clearly visualized under a standard brightfield microscope. The NISH Red Kit is supplied in pre-filled vials and requires no mixing, dilution, or titration — it is optimized and ready to use directly on the NeoPath Pro Automated Stainer. With 135 tests per kit, it supports high-throughput ISH research workflows. For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
