The NISH CMV Probe is a dual-probe in situ hybridization (ISH) reagent designed for the qualitative detection of cytomegalovirus (CMV) mRNA in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections. CMV is a widely studied herpesvirus with relevance across virology, transplant biology, and immunology research. The NISH CMV Probe enables direct, spatially resolved visualization of CMV within intact tissue morphology, producing a chromogenic signal that can be interpreted under standard brightfield microscopy. Powered by HCR™ Pro, the dual-probe format (CMV A & B) provides redundant target coverage and amplified signal output for sensitive detection. The probe is supplied ready-to-use in hybridization buffer and integrates with the NISH HRP Detection Kit and NISH DAB Kit on the NeoPath Pro Automated Stainer. For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
