Description
The MYC (8q24) Break Apart FISH Probe is a dual-color assay designed to flank the MYC gene region on chromosome 8. The probe uses Orange and Green fluorophores positioned on opposite sides of the MYC locus.
In an intact configuration, the orange and green signals appear adjacent or overlapping. If structural changes separate the targeted regions, the signals appear split, allowing direct visualization of rearrangements affecting the MYC locus in research samples.
