The NISH HPV 16/18 Probe is an in situ hybridization (ISH) reagent for the qualitative detection of nucleic acid sequences from human papillomavirus (HPV) types 16 and 18 in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections. HPV types 16 and 18 are among the most extensively studied high-risk HPV genotypes in virology and cancer biology research. The NISH HPV 16/18 Probe enables precise, spatially resolved detection of HPV 16/18 DNA directly within preserved tissue morphology, producing a chromogenic signal that can be interpreted under standard brightfield microscopy. Powered by HCR™ Pro, this probe delivers sensitive, high-clarity signal with minimal background. It is supplied ready-to-use in hybridization buffer and is compatible with the NISH HRP and AP Detection Kit and NISH DAB or Red Kit on the NeoPath Pro Automated Stainer. For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
