The NISH EBER Probe is a dual-probe in situ hybridization (ISH) reagent designed for the qualitative detection of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) encoded RNA transcripts — specifically EBER1 and EBER2 — in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections.
Powered by Hybridization Chain Reaction (HCR™) Technology, the NISH platform delivers high-sensitivity chromogenic signal with low background, enabling clear visualization of viral RNA transcripts under standard brightfield microscopy. The dual-probe format (EBER A & B) provides redundant target coverage across the EBER locus, supporting robust and reproducible results.
The NISH EBER Probe is intended for use on the NeoPath Pro Automated Stainer and is compatible with the NISH HRP Detection Kit and NISH DAB Kit for complete, streamlined workflow integration. No probe mixing, dilution, or titration is required prior to use.
