In addition, Fix Mix—a 10% Neutral Buffered Formalin in PBS—acts as a fixative that protects cellular structure without compromising downstream performance.

To prepare the slide for hybridization, CF Reagent Alcohol (70%) efficiently dehydrates the sample, creating the ideal environment for probe application. Meanwhile, CF SSC Wash Buffer, a ready-to-use 2X SSC solution with 0.3% NP-40 and ProClin 950, supports specific binding by reducing nonspecific background and promoting clarity.

Furthermore, the kit includes FISH Wash Buffer and Hot Wash for critical pre- and post-hybridization steps. These additional washes help remove unbound probes, reduce background, and sharpen final signal intensity—improving both speed and accuracy in interpretation.
