Teagan Skotarczak joined Empire Genomics in January 2024, bringing more than 10 years of laboratory experience. Her background spans cell culture, PCR, microarray, cytogenetics, and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). Teagan earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from D’Youville University and began her career as a cell culture technician in manufacturing before transitioning into the clinical field at KSL Diagnostics. She is certified as a cytogenetics technologist by New York State and nationally by the ASCP, and she continues to remain active in the clinical laboratory setting.
