The TP53 (17p13) Orange / Copy Control 17 Green FISH Probe is a dual-color fluorescence in situ hybridization assay designed to detect the TP53 gene region on chromosome 17. The TP53 locus is labeled with an Orange fluorophore, while a Green fluorophore targets a reference region on chromosome 17, serving as an internal copy control.

When hybridized to interphase nuclei or metaphase chromosomes, the probe produces distinct orange and green signals that allow visualization of TP53 relative to a stable chromosome 17 reference site. This two-signal design supports evaluation of locus representation and structural changes involving the TP53 region.
