Leatrice B., an EG intern and junior studying Pharmaceutical Science at UB. Leatrice attests "My internship at Empire Genomics exposed me to the growing and exciting field of personalized medicine; I couldn't have asked for a greater experience."
Lucy C., a former intern and senior at Orchard Park High School who intends to pursue a career in Genetics shares her internship experience at EG, “Through Empire Genomics I was able to expand my knowledge and interests in medical research and genetics, under the guidance of experienced professionals. The internship provided a great opportunity to be involved in medical research in a local environment.”
This year our goal is to raise $20,000 dollars which will serve as scholarships to benefit deserving students pursuing college careers in the fields of STEM. With the rapid growth in the life sciences and healthcare markets and a focus on our local economy, Empire Genomics recognizes the need for retaining trained scientific talent in Western New York.
