VWA3B FISH Probe
The VWA3B FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the VWA3B gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. Each probe is sold in a 20 test kit (approximately 20 slides - 22x22 mm area) and includes hybridization buffer. Please note that due to design optimizations, prices are subject to change.

Gene Summary
This gene encodes an intracellular protein that contains a von Willebrand factor type A domain. Intracellular proteins with VWA domains are thought to function in transcription, DNA repair, ribosomal and membrane transport and the proteasome. Mutations in this gene are associated with Spinocerebellar ataxia, autosomal recessive 22. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, May 2017]
