SLC27A3 FISH Probe

The SLC27A3 FISH probe is designed to hybridize to the SLC27A3 gene and is primarily used for detecting amplifications and deletions associated with the gene. This probe is FISH confirmed on normal peripheral blood metaphase spreads and interphase nuclei. The probe can be labeled in one of five colors. This gene belongs to a family of integral membrane proteins and encodes a protein that is involved in lipid metabolism. The increased expression of this gene in human neural stem cells derived from induced pluripotent stem cells suggests that it plays an important role in early brain development.
