FGFR3 FISH Probe
Our FGFR3 probe is designed to detect the FGFR3 amplifications and deletions. The probe comes labeled in orange, but can be customized to meet your needs.
Gene Background: FGFR3 is a member of the FGFR gene family, tyrosine kinases with extracellular immunoglobulin (Ig)-like domains and intracellular tyrosine kinase domains. The FGFR signaling pathway interacts with several other important intracellular pathways, including PI3K/Akt, Wnt, hedgehog, and bone morphogenic protein (BMP). FGFR copy number variations have been detected in 19% of bladder urothelial carcinomas, and, at lower frequencies, squamous cell lung carcinoma, melanoma, glioblastoma, bladder carcinoma, and gastric adenocarcinoma.
